Morris of Rutherglen is proud to announce the reopening of its iconic Cellar Door and Whisky Distillery following an extensive renovation project.
With over 160 years of experience and six generations of dedication, the Morris family has earned global acclaim for their exquisite, fortified wines and recent foray into single malt whisky. Nestled in the heart of countryside North-East Victoria, the historic site has been home to the Morris family since 1859, and for the first-time visitors will be able to experience both the worlds of wine and whisky at one destination.
The revitalized space includes a new state of the art bar and tasting room, landscaped gardens as well as the opportunity for an immersive and educational whisky and wine experience that weaves through the ancient barrel house to the heart of the iconic 1930’s copper still.
Morris might just be the only cellar door in the world where you can try a full flight of whisky expressions alongside the world-winning fortified wines that influenced them, an iconic Australian destination and absolute must visit for wine and whisky enthusiasts alike
