Bars & Cocktails – Spirits & Distilling is the new look and name for what was Bars&Clubs.
When Bars&Clubs launched over 30 years ago, the club scene was very different to what it is now, so we felt it was time for a change, introducing a new name, look and website that is contemporary, cleaner and more reflective of Australia’s dynamic bar and cocktail industry.
We’ll still bring you all the latest bar news, but we’re also adding a focus on spirits brands and the art of distillation. Honouring the exciting growth the country’s spirits and distilling industry has enjoyed in recent years, we’ll be bringing you the latest news, features, interviews and more from the people and brands that make the industry as dynamic as it is.
Of course, it should go without saying, Bars & Cocktails continues to cover the key elements of bar culture including bartender and venue profiles, new products and launches, classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, as well as coverage of the major competitions and industry events, in an engaging and resourceful manner to ensure you stay up to date with everything that is going on in this great industry.
Bars & Cocktails is also co-presenter of the annual Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) – the industry’s night of nights, attended by over 600 members of the hospitality industry and recognition of the top performers across all categories, as voted for by the trade.
