Whisky and cookie matching

by Stefanie Collins

Acclaimed pastry chef Christina Tosi of NYC’s Momofuku’s Milk Bar will join with Singleton Whisky to pair cookies and eau de vie at The Singleton Whisky & Sugar Bar.

The one-off cocktail and dessert bar will match whisky-infused cookies with glasses of the real stuff at The Night Noodle Market in Sydney’s Hyde Park.

The exclusive Whisky Maple Cookies have whisky infused in the dough as well as whisky sugar sprinkled over them before baking.

To top it off, renowned MasterChef contestant and whisky fan Sean Baxter has created a range of Singleton Whisky cocktails – including a Malted & Salted Maple Old Fashioned garnished with a chunk of salted toffee – to match with Tosi’s exclusive cookie creation as well as serving whisky straight up for fans of Scotch.

The Singleton Whisky & Sugar Bar Menu

The Singleton Whisky & Sugar Bar is popping up in Hyde Park, Sydney, 8–25 October and at Birrarung Marr, Melbourne, 12–29 November.
