SoCal’s Taco & Tequila Fiesta returns

SoCal’s Taco and Tequila Festival returns with May, with a variety of exciting events including the famous chilli eating contest, Mexican dinner, and a Sunday session you won’t forget.

The Festival kicks off on May 5, with the Cinco De Mayo launch party, offering a day of fun as SoCal is transformed into the ultimate party destination, with live music, $15 margaritas, epic tacos, and good vibes all day long.

In addition, the afternoon will feature a live acoustic duo, followed by a DJ who will aim to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed. Finally a lively Mariachi band, will add an extra dose of Mexican flare.

The Festival will also include SoCal’s annual chilli eating contest, which is a highlight of the Taco & Tequila Fiesta.

From mild jalapeños to fiery Carolina Reapers, the spice levels are reaching new heights, and the flames are ready to be unleashed. Whether you’re a reigning champ, newbie, or secret fire dragon, they welcome everyone to register to compete. There are limited seats, so it’ll be based on first come, first served.

Earlier this year, SoCal hosted an ‘All Stars’ contest, and two-time consecutive winner Carlos was the last one to break a sweat, chowing down on a whopping combination of 5 Carolina Reapers and yellow habañeros, proving why he was deserving of the ultimate chilli champion title.
