House of Pocket launches 30-strong $18 cocktail menu

by Molly Nicholas

Karl Schlothauer, who owns House of Pocket, says: “This is about making going out more accessible, any night of the week. It would be great if pollies could level the playing field and give cocktail drinkers the same tax relief they gave beer drinkers.”

The complete classic cocktail menu is now available at all three House of Pocket venues, including the original hangout Pocket Bar and speakeasy Stitch Bar.

The third venue in the group’s portfolio is Kasippu, which opened in December last year. At the front of Kasippu is Wadiya, a Sri Lankan curry house serving up authentic dishes, which leads through to Kasippu’s bar where the cocktail menu that puts a Sri Lankan influence on contemporary mixology.
