Ice Sculptures by the Sea

by Stefanie Collins

In celebration the Sculptures by the Sea Exhibition, Suntory Whisky is teaming up with Neighbourhood Bondi to offer art and whisky enthusiasts the opportunity to learn how to hand carve their very own ice sphere for their whisky. And although it probably won’t be as fancy as the ice in this video of laser cut ice sculpting, hand carving ice spheres is sure to impress your mate and add to your behind the bar repertoire.

Running on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm and 7.30pm for the course of the outdoor art exhibition, attendees will learn the art of ice carving with Suntory Whisky ambassadors. And to sweeten the deal, they will then get to pour Suntory Whisky Japanese Harmony over their icy masterpiece. Oh and there will be canapés and Kakubin Highballs too.

The $25 tickes are strictly limited. Book through bookings@neighbourhoodbondi.com.au
