Recipe: Love Potion

Late last year, Southern Comfort brought a taste of the Big Easy to Melbourne, flying out a range of New Orleans hospitality’s best. Over the course of a weekend, the group could be found at a series of consumer and industry events, creating New Orleans inspired food and cocktails to the sound of jazz. Here’s one of their cocktail creations.

Love Potion

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Southern Comfort
  • 7ml Love Potion syrup (made from apple, cinnamon, rosemary, thyme, basil, sugar and water)
  • 14 Drops orange bitters
  • 14 Drops Bittermen’s Mole bitters
  • Rosemary sprig to garnish

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in a double old fashion glass with ice
  2. Stir
  3. Garnish to serve
