PS Soda to close

Craft soda business PS Soda is closing tomorrow, with founder and Head of Production, Thor Berguist blaming a difficult year of sales due to COVID-19 and the sustained impact across the on-premise.

PS Soda has been bottled and crafted at award-winning bar PS40 since 2017, and its use of local and native ingredients had seen it partner with brands like Glenfiddich, Mr Black, Never Never and Scout Sydney.

Thor said: “PS Soda wants to thank everyone across Australia for all their support over the last few years both to Proof & Company for their belief in us and our passionate customers.

“Unfortunately, the bubble has burst, and we’ve decided to wrap up the carbonator and call it a day, we’re glad to go out on a high and wish everyone the best.”

Distributors Proof & Company said it was grateful for the opportunity to partner with PS Soda.

Stock will be available until July 30 from wholesale partners and Proof and Company until stock runs out.
