Recipes for National Amaretto Day

Next Tuesday, 19 April, is National Amaretto Day so here are some cocktail recipes featuring popular amaretto brand, Disaronno.

THE DISARONNO SOUR

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Disronno
  • 25ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 5ml Sugar Syrup
  • Egg white

Directions:

  1. Shake all the ingredients with ice
  2. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

THE DISARONNO FIZZ

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Disaronno
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Soda or Sparkling Water

Directions:

  1. Pour Disaronno over ice
  2. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  3. Top up with soda water
  4. Stir and garnish with lemon zest.

THE DISARONNO GODFATHER

Ingredients:

  • 25 ml Disaronno
  • 50ml Whisky
  • Orange twist

Directions:

  1. Pour over large ice ball and stir
  2. Garnish with orange twist.
