Recipe: Bittersweet Paloma

This amaro-spiked twist on the Tequila classic was the most popular cocktail at the recent opening of The Stolen Gem in Melbourne.

RECIPE

Ingredients:


  • 60ml Echuca Agave Spirit
  • 30ml Grapefruit Cordial
  • 15ml Okar Bitter Amaro
  • 22.5ml Lime Juice
  • Grapefruit Soda to Top
  • Grapefruit Wedge

Directions:


  1. Add ingredients (apart from grapefruit soda) to the shaker
  2. Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
  3. Strain into an ice-filled glass
  4. Top with grapefruit soda
  5. Garnish with grapefruit wedge
