World-first standalone Grey Goose bar to open in Melbourne

by Andy Young

Grey Goose will open its first standalone bar in Melbourne next month, with Le Martini developed to celebrate the iconic Martini cocktail.

Created in partnership with Crown Melbourne, Le Martini will be a 33-seat lavish venue  which aims to create a sensory journey and a memorable and immersive experience.

Grey Goose Marketing Manager Sander Janmaat said: “We are delighted to bring the world’s first Grey Goose bar to Australia, and as such an exemplar of luxury, Crown Melbourne is undoubtedly the perfect home for Le Martini. Here, we are creating a place where guests can sip on the very best expertly crafted Grey Goose Martinis while immersed in exquisite surrounds.”

To help create that next-level experience you would expect from Grey Goose’s first bar in the world, Le Martini will welcome a star-studded roster of visiting international guest bartenders, with specially curated cocktail menus from the likes of award-winning New York industry legend Dale De Groff, whose inspired offer will open proceedings.

In keeping with the French theme, guests will also enjoy a bespoke food menu created by the esteemed Bistro Guillaume, an elevated mainstay of Crown Melbourne’s fine dining offering.

Crown Melbourne CEO, Mike Volkert said: “Crown is dedicated to providing guests with world-class experiences across our illustrious property. Le Martini is a truly unique offering that symbolises our shared goal to create memorable moments for our guests.

“This new and exciting venue further enhances Crown Melbourne’s reputation as a premium beverage venue as we continue to offer amazing experiences throughout our expanding stable of bars and restaurants.”

Le Martini launches in April and will open Thursday to Sunday from 5pm until late.
