ALIA voting closes this Friday – have your say and VOTE NOW

by Andy Young

Voting is open for the 2024 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), giving you the opportunity to vote for your favourite brands, venues and people over the last 12 months, and we extended voting by one week, so don’t miss out.

VOTING CLOSES ON FRIDAY, 26 JULY, SO HAVE YOUR SAY AND VOTE NOW.

The ALIAs are the opportunity for everyone who works in Australia’s liquor industry to have your say on who, what and where have been the stars for the last year – these awards really are voted by the industry, for the industry.

There are two stages to the ALIA voting process, which give us our finalists and then our winners: the first stage is voting and the second stage is judging.

Head to the ALIA website to vote now.

The voting process is open to everyone who works in the Australian liquor industry and you are invited to vote for your favourite in each category – but please note you don’t have to vote in every category.

Then once voting closes, we compile all the votes and that gives us our finalists and we move into stage two – judging.

Stage two then sees all finalists in all categories judged by a selection panel made up of senior industry representatives which is printed in each year’s event program.

Head to the ALIA website to vote.

The industry panel votes in a 3-2-1 process for their top three selections in every category, with these votes then audited by Quantaco to confirm the winners in each category. The winners are then announced on the Australian liquor industry’s night of nights – the ALIAs, which this year are taking place on Wednesday, 30 October at The Star Event Centre, Sydney. You can get your earlybird tickets here.

As always the night has a theme and this year we are heading to the Wild West.

But right now it is all about voting, and making sure the best brands, people and venues of the last 12 months are nominated to be a finalist. So have your say now and vote.
