Tanica low-alcohol cocktail recipes

Tanica is a new Australian low-alcohol spirit, and here are some cocktail recipes to help hit those key no-and-low trends this summer.

COSMO WONDER

Ingredients:


  • 60ml Tanica No. 1 Salted Plum & Ginger
  • 20ml Cranberry Juice
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice

Directions:


  1. Chill a coupe glass with ice.
  2. Shake Tanica, lime and cranberry juice in a shaker with ice.
  3. Tip out the ice from chilled glass and strain into glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange twist or dehydrated orange.

WEEKDAY MARG

Ingredients:


  • 90ml Tanica No. 2 Desert Lime & Thyme
  • 20-30ml Lime Juice
  • Dash of tequila optional!

Directions:


  1. Shake Tanica and lime juice in a shaker with ice.
  2. Add dash of tequila if you’d like.
  3. Strain into a chilled salty rimmed glass.

TANICA SPRITZ

Ingredients:


  • 60ml Tanica No. 1 Salted Plum & Ginger
  • 45ml Prosecco or Sparkling Soda Water & Ice

Directions:


  1. Mix Tanica and Prosecco in a wine glass, add ice to fill to rim, top with soda.
  2. Garnish with a few raspberries and a twist of lemon or a slice of grapefruit.

NO #FOMOJITO

Ingredients:


  • 60ml Tanica No. 2 Desert Lime & Thyme
  • Soda water & Ice
  • 6 mint leaves and a sprig for garnish
  • Half a lime cut in wedges
  • Raw sugar

Directions:


  1. Muddle mint, lime and tsp of raw sugar in a tall Collins glass with a muddle stick.
  2. Add Tanica, ice cubes or crushed ice to the rim and top with soda.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
