House Made Hospitality named Best Bar Group at ALIA 2025

House Made Hospitality (HMH) has been crowned Best Bar Group of 2025 by Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), recognising its outstanding performance across multiple venues, innovation in hospitality, and distinctive brand culture.

The Sydney-based group has built a reputation for combining stylish venue design, high-calibre drink programs and thoughtful service.

Speaking after collected the award, HMH’s Jason Williams said: “It feels amazing, and unexpected considering the calibre of the other groups that were nominated. This room is full of amazingly talented, industrious, creative people and even just to be nominated and to be here is really cool and such an honour.

“We’re so proud of what we do and the culture we’ve created, and we have great people – if it wasn’t for the people that work for our group, we wouldn’t be successful. It’s all about the team that we have.”

The group currently operates 17 venues around Sydney including Apollonia, Bar Tilde and Baptist St Rec. Club.

In terms of how it likes to operate, HMH said: “Our ambition is to build unique concepts that create a sense of place and deliver a great experience. Our focus is on how people feel in our venues. Our culture is conscious with humility, generosity and warmth at its core. Our passion is what we do, and we enjoy every bit of it.”
