2025 Wine List Awards

Celebrate your wine list at 2025 NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards

by Andy Young

Entries are now open for the 2025 NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards which gives bars across the state the chance to showcase local wines and the diversity and quality of wines from New South Wales.

All venues from restaurants and bars to pubs, hotels, clubs and functions venues are invited to enter the awards with six categories up for grabs including  the coveted title of NSW Sommelier Wine List of the Year.

NSW Wine said: “The NSW Sommelier’s Wine List Awards celebrate venues that forge strong relationships with local winemakers and consistently champion the wines of our regions. Past winners range from iconic Sydney dining institutions to intimate regional gems, yet they all share one common thread: a passion for showcasing local producers and the stunning diversity of NSW’s wine regions.

“This year NSW Wine are raising the stakes, with more on offer than ever before for this year’s finalists and winners. Along with amazing prizes from our event sponsors, including multi-night regional wine and dine vouchers, a glass fit-out and consultation with Riedel, and complimentary entry into the Australian Wine List Of The Year.”

This November will be NSW Wine Month, which will se month-long celebration of the state’s various wine regions and shine a spotlight on each of the finalists, and champion them as the best places in town to grab a glass of local wine.

Entries are open now and venues with wine lists that celebrate the best of local wines are encouraged to submit their wine list ahead of entries closing at 11.59pm on Friday, 11 April.
