Vanguard introduces luxury Australian mixer in new distribution deal

by Dan Hughes

Vanguard Luxury Brands has reached a new distribution agreement with Australian company, StrangeLove.

Vanguard is adding the premium mixer company to complement its up-market spirits portfolio in order to heighten the experience for its high-end hospitality venues and retailers.

James France, Vanguard Luxury Brands Founder and Managing Director said: “It’s a long time since we have been involved in the mixers category, and StrangeLove is the ideal mixer brand for Vanguard because it’s premium and locally owned and produced.

“We’re seriously excited to be the new Australian distributor for StrangeLove and would like to thank their previous distributors, Bibendum, for their great work thus far. StrangeLove will be available from Paramount, Liquid Mix, LSB and direct from us at Vanguard from April 5. Over the coming months you’ll find it in the likes of ALM and ILG as well.”

StrangeLove, founded in Byron Bay in 2012, focuses on premium mixers to elevate the experience for premium spirits drinkers. Its range consists of 10 premium mixers and eight Lo-Cal sodas which are all low in sugar, crafted with all-natural ingredients, botanical extracts and oils.

Its partnership with Vanguard is said to be the next step to bring the brand to the forefront of craft mixers in the Australian market.

David Temminghoff, StrangeLove CEO added: “We are extremely excited to work with the passionate and knowledgeable team at Vanguard. Their love of good drinking is second only to their reputation for excellent service. We can’t think of a better partner to help take StrangeLove to the next level.”
