Jameson are shouting 10,000 drinks across Sydney

Jameson have teamed up with Merivale to give away up to 10,000 free whiskey, dry and lime drinks at select Sydney venues.

The campaign is being dubbed as ‘Australia’s Biggest Round,’ letting people sign up for a free drink at their local from now until 16 October.

Jameson said the dry and lime is the “go-to drink for those who treat their friends,” with the campaign pitched at bringing people together. Brand Ambassador Liam O’Connell said it’s to celebrate the simple act of socialising.

 “Jameson is the social whiskey that has been bringing people together since 1780 and that’s what this campaign and Australia’s Biggest Round is all about; shouting your mates a round and enjoying a drink together. It’s simple really, Slainte.” he said.

Coinciding with the round is news of a free one-day festival at Marrickville’s Vic on the Park on 19 October. Called ‘The Jameson House of Rounds,’ the day will be a celebration of whiskey, live music and local products with a range of market stalls.  

With the line-up still TBA, Jameson have promised a focus on creativity and community, with a portion of money from the bar going to charity.
