Revamped Archie Rose brand home highlights the craft of distilling

by Molly Nicholas November 10, 2025

Archie Rose Distilling Co. has updated its brand home in Rosebery, Sydney, expanding on its original distillery to create a more immersive destination celebrating Australian spirits.

Across the new Still Room and revitalised Cellar Door, visitors can now explore all aspects of the distillery, from distilling and blending through to tasting and enjoying the finished products.

Archie Rose founder Will Edwards says: “This relaunch represents a new era for Archie Rose. After more than a decade of sharing our spirits and experiences with over 100,000 guests, we’re building on that legacy to bring every element of what we do together under one roof, from blending and distilling to tasting and enjoying, and creating a space where every guest, whether local or international, can experience the full breadth of Archie Rose firsthand.”

The original distillery site has been transformed into the Still Room – an immersive space that celebrates the art of distilling, blending and tasting. The Still Room will facilitate the brand’s signature experiences, such as the hands-on Blend Your Own Whisky and Blend Your Own Gin classes, which attract more than 10,000 guests each year.

Attached to the Still Room is the revamped Cellar Door – an elevated retail space showcasing the full Archie Rose range and offering tasting experiences, which officially opens its doors on Wednesday 12 November. The brand’s Tailored Spirits service will be available in the Cellar Door, where visitors can create a bespoke gin, vodka or whisky, complete with a personalised label and message printed in-house.

From January, Archie Rose will reintroduce complimentary tours of the original distillery site where guests can step behind the scenes of the award-winning distillery, alongside a program of events and masterclasses designed for both industry professionals and spirit enthusiasts.

Harriet Leigh, head of hospitality at Archie Rose, commented: “As we relaunch our original Rosebery home, we’ve taken the opportunity to ensure it’s a space where everyone can experience Archie Rose. From free tours and tastings and extended opening hours, to translated tours for international visitors, we’re proud to make the distillery more inclusive and ready to welcome guests from all over the world.”

As part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, Archie Rose will trial a new Tourism Ready Program, offering translated tours in Mandarin and Korean and accessible tours in Australian Sign Language, opening up the experience to a broader range of visitors in the new year.
