World’s 50 Best Bars reveals bars 51 to 100

With one week until the unveiling of The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, sponsored by Perrier, the organisation has released its annual extended ranking of bars placed 51–100.

Now in its ninth year, the list is compiled from the votes of more than 800 independent industry experts, including bartenders, educators, cocktail authorities and drinks writers.

This year’s 51–100 list features venues from 34 cities worldwide, including 16 new entries across Bangkok, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Medellín and New Delhi. Melbourne bar Byrdi, the only Australian bar on this part of the list, named at 91.

The USA leads the extended list for a third consecutive year, with eight bars across five cities, including newcomers Schmuck (No.59, New York), True Laurel (No.64, San Francisco) and Mírate (No.93, Los Angeles). Mexico follows with five entries, led by Mexico City’s Licorería Limantour (No.52). Canada’s Bar Pompette (No.55, Toronto) also rose 15 places.

Europe dominates with 15 entries, including four each from Spain and Italy. Highlights include Madrid’s Angelita (No.51), Florence newcomer Gucci Giardino (No.99), and London’s Three Sheets Soho (No.80). Berlin, Athens, Copenhagen and Stockholm also feature.

Asia accounts for 12 bars, led by Hong Kong with three – Argo (No.56), newcomer Gokan (No.70) and The Savory Project (No.86). New entries also came from Bangkok, Taichung and New Delhi. Singapore’s Native (No.84) holds its place, while Sri Lanka’s Smoke & Bitters (No.67) climbs 19 spots.

Latin America sees first-time representation from Medellín with Mamba Negra (No.81) and Bar Carmen (No.100). Buenos Aires’ Victor Audio Bar (No.87) also debuts. São Paulo newcomer Exímia lands at No.61.

Elsewhere, Hero Bar in Nairobi is No.69, while LPM Dubai rises to No.60.

The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 ceremony will take place in Hong Kong on 8 October, with the countdown broadcast live to a global audience.
