Hoxton Spirits lands in Australia

A new player has entered the Australian spirits scene as acclaimed British drinks company Hoxton Spirits makes its debut down under.

Founded by respected international mixologist Gerry Calabrese, the flavour-forward portfolio of naturally-infused spirits has been tailormade for bar professionals.

Gerry, the son of cocktail icon Salvatore Calabrese, cut his teeth in London’s bar scene, spending over two decades behind the bar before turning his attention to spirit creation. The result is a line of high-quality, approachable spirits that reflect both the heritage of cocktail culture and the evolving tastes of today’s drinkers.

“We launched Hoxton with a vision to bring something fresh and exciting to the world of spirits,” says Gerry. “Our products are crafted to deliver exceptional taste while celebrating creativity and individuality. We’re thrilled to now share that ethos with Australian consumers and the vibrant hospitality industry here.”

The Hoxton Spirits core range features six naturally-infused spirits.

From the beginning, Hoxton demonstrated a flavour-first philosophy that has earned the brand a cult following in the UK. Honouring traditional methods, all products are distilled using a 150-year-old copper pot still, with bold, natural infusions introduced to bring a contemporary edge to the liquid.

The Australian launch features the brand’s full core range, including:

  • Hoxton Dry Gin: A classic expression that balances juniper with grapefruit, ginger, orris root and tarragon.
  • Hoxton Tropical Gin: The flagship spirit, a vibrant gin with tropical fruit notes.
  • Hoxton Pink Gin: Infused with florals and red berry and crafted Old Tom style.
  • Hoxton Banana Rum: A rich blend of up to seven-year-old rums infused with fresh and dried bananas over a five week maceration process.
  • Hoxton Spiced Whisky: A blended Scotchy whisky layered with fruits and spices.
  • Hoxton London Spritz: A traditional aperitivo-style spirit with Italian zest.
