Cocktail Menu: Rye Old Fashioned

Rye Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

• 45ml rye whiskey
• One or two dashes Angostura bitters
• One or two dashes orange bitters
• One teaspoon demerara sugar

Directions:

1. Create a syrup with demarara sugar and one teaspoon of very hot water, stir until dissolved
2. Add whiskey and bitters, stir again
3. Add several ice cubes and stir well to chill
4. Strain into an old-fashioned glass, serve on ice with lemon peel twisted over the top
