Rebate helps reduce running costs in NSW

by Andy Young

Bar operators in New South Wales are reminded that they can take advantage of the NSW Government’s Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate, to help reduce running costs.

The rebate offers $1500 of help to small businesses, sole traders and not-for-profit organisations for the cost of government fees and charges.

Eligible businesses can use the rebate to claim back the cost of NSW and local government fees and charges up to $1500.

Businesses only need to apply for the rebate once but can submit multiple claims until the full value of $1500 is reached.

Eligible fees and charges include food authority, liquor and tradesperson licences, business vehicle registration fees, and council rates due and paid from 1 March 2021.

The rebate is available from 1 April 2021 until 30 June 2022.

To view the full eligibility criteria and apply, visit the Service NSW website.
