Maybe Frank summer pop-up to launch in Bondi

The Beach Road Hotel in Bondi will host a summer pop-up from pizza and cocktail connoisseurs Maybe Frank.

Launching this Thursday (November 15), Maybe Frank at Beach Road Hotel will serve pizzas and cocktails from Wednesday to Sunday, taking over the Level 1 pop-up space previously occupied by BL Burgers and TruckStop.

The pop-up menu – a microcosm of Maybe Frank’s full menu – includes seven of the venue’s most popular pizzas (though smaller and cheaper, and designed to be eaten by one) and two classic Italian cocktail offerings, Negroni and Aperol Spritz.

Maybe Frank co-owner Vince Lombardo said the opportunity to bring Maybe Frank to a Bondi pub institution for a summer stint was too good to resist. “The space itself is exactly what you want for a summer pop-up. The combination of indoor and outdoor seating is great, there’s a lot of natural light, we have a stand-alone kitchen to use and it’s one of Bondi’s best-loved pubs. It was a no-brainer.”

Liam Wilson, Group Operations Manager for Whitehouse Properties who own Beach Road Hotel, echoes Lombardo’s enthusiasm for the collaboration. “The Maybe Frank team produce some of the best pizza and cocktails in Sydney and we think it’s the perfect offering for our diners and drinkers at Beach Road Hotel over the summer months.”

Maybe Frank at Beach Road Hotel will run until the end of summer in 2019.
