Sesión Tequila to open pop-up lounge bar at The Star

The Star Sydney has announced the opening of the Sesión Tequila Green Room pop-up lounge bar, which will launch this Friday, 29 September.

A specially crafted cocktail menu has been designed by Geraint Coles to showcase the spirit, which is produced from 100 percent blue agave from the fields of Jalisco, Mexico.

Cocktails include a Mocha Negroni, a refreshing Flora De Verano made with Sesión blanco, Aperol, watermelon, rosewater, hibiscus and lime, alongside three spins on the classic Margarita: fresh lime and agave, rosemary & grapefruit and pineapple and mint.

Sesión was founded by former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall, born out of a passion for Mexico’s national spirit and a desire to bring a taste of their travels back to Australian shores.

“We are so pumped to collaborate with The Star to bring the Sesión Tequila Green Room to life!” said Hawkins.

“I can’t wait for visitors to The Star to hang out and enjoy some of the incredible Sesión cocktails we have created especially for this space. It’s a dream come true for both of and the Sesión team to showcase our product in such an amazing venue.”

Located alongside the Cherry Bar at The Star, the Green Room will be open from Friday to Sunday throughout spring and summer.
