Are you a champion of NSW Wines? Submit your wine list to the 2025 NSW Sommelier’s Wine List Awards.

by Bars & Clubs

The 2025 NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards are here for their sixth year, and NSW Wine is calling out to sommeliers, restaurant owners, bar managers, and hospitality professionals to showcase their exceptional wine lists. If you are passionate about supporting local wines and curating wine lists that highlight the rich diversity and unique character of NSW, this is your moment.

Whether you manage a cosy local bar, a casual eatery, a hatted fine dining venue, or a hotel restaurant, we’re looking for wine lists that reflect the vibrant diversity of NSW’s unique wine regions. All hospitality venues are encouraged to enter, from restaurants and bars to pubs, hotels, clubs and functions venues.

The NSW Sommelier’s Wine List Awards celebrate venues that forge strong relationships with local winemakers and consistently champion the wines of our regions. Past winners range from iconic Sydney dining institutions to intimate regional gems, yet they all share one common thread: a passion for showcasing local producers and the stunning diversity of NSW’s wine regions.

The 2025 awards will be a celebration of excellence, with sommeliers, bar and beverage managers, and restaurant owners competing for the coveted title of NSW Sommelier Wine List of the Year in one of six categories.

This year NSW Wine are raising the stakes, with more on offer than ever before for this year’s finalists and winners. Along with amazing prizes from our event sponsors, including multi-night regional wine and dine vouchers, a glass fit-out and consultation with RIEDEL, and complimentary entry into the Australian Wine List Of The Year, all finalists will automatically be featured in our NSW Wine Month campaign this November – a month-long celebration of everything great about NSW Wine. As part of the campaign, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our finalists and championing them as the best places in town to grab a glass of local wine. In addition, all finalists will receive the coveted title of ‘NSW Wine Star’, great promotional opportunities and marketing material.

If you or someone you know offers an outstanding wine experience, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of local wines that highlight the quality and diversity of NSW’s wine scene, then NSW Wine wants to hear from you.

Let’s celebrate the best of local wine together and continue to elevate the NSW wine story.

Submit your entry today! Entries close 11.59pm on Friday 11th April.
